ER-2 Meteorological Plots

These are gif images showing meteorological fields in the vicinity of the NASA ER-2 for each flight during the aircraft field experiments Code 916 has participated in. Each flight has associated with it two plots: a horizontal map ("*_h.gif") on an isentropic surface and a "curtain" plot ("*_c.gif") showing vertical profiles along the flight path.

DC-8 Meteorological Plots

NCEP CPC profiles

These are profiles at specific latitude and longitude locations calculated from NCEP CPC data. The files are ASCII text and contain pressure levels, temperatures and geopotential heights.
